Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to set up, operate and shut down a continuous press used in the production of engineered wood panels.The unit applies to individuals who work as production operators and technicians in an engineered wood panel facility. Operators generally work under broad or limited direction to complete routine activities related to their own work, and take responsibility for their work.All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures, according to state/territory health and safety regulations, legislation and standards that apply to the workplace. No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
